Our Programs
Virtual Support Groups
We offer free monthly support groups for all of our members. The groups are open to both patients and survivors to attend. We discuss different treatment options, health and nutrition, medications, general questions, and we openly discuss feelings and offer advice. We will also have special guests attend our meetings, including oncologists, nutritionists, integrative doctors and other informational speakers. This is an open, nurturing, warm and fun group for women to feel supported by one another and get the comfort and information they need.
Breast Cancer Buddies Club at Wootton High School
The Breast Cancer Buddies club at Wootton High School is dedicated to hosting fundraisers and events to support our organization. They meet monthly to discuss ways they can best support cancer patients in our community. Last year, they funded and assembled over 75 gift bags including comfort items, handmade blankets and hand decorated journals to be donated to infusion centers. They also made handwritten cards to be given to patients during the holidays.
